Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, unlike most other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t need to fret about other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game play, newcomers will be able to take their time and plan without having to make frenzied choices.
It is also easier to participate in for an extended time with only a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is dealt seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
