1 Plus 2 Equals 3: A Poker Player’s Value is Determined by His/Her Bottom Line

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

A number of poker techniques will astonish you with their simplicity. This is one of them. Note your conclusions, each and every single time you wager.

Chapel of Texas Holdem Psalm #three:

Thou have to record thy wins and your squanders; for it’s the total of all a persons accomplishments which develop his or her bottom line.

How accurate is up to you. I usually think that hourly info and that style of personal information is wasted. Basically figure out how much in front you are and how much (if any) you have withdrawn. Naturally, if you don’t win, record that too, regardless of how much it hurts.

Don’t overlook to write down what style of game you’re competing in, if that is significant to you. (In my experience, most gamblers keep to what they know and do not experiment. If all you note is up, loses and withdrawals, you are light years ahead of most gamblers out there!)

Bestow on yourself realistic ambitions, such as a ‘dream’ target (new car, get-a-way or anything else). When you withdraw, add the $$$$$ taken out to your dream tally. The more prosperous you are, the nearer that goal will be!
