Have you viewed the new PokerPro texas holdem poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks back when I took a quick trip with my parents to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I observed how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was fairly fascinating to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer driven, there have been no clay poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was boring. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, but I did observe the players in the table had a lifeless quality to them. The reason behind this might be because there was no human conversation with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively boring and the gamblers looked bored. It was almost as if I was seeing a live variation of an online texas holdem poker room instead of being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a tiny bit spooky and I continued to have flash backs to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the stay tables was over an hour, I made a decision to see how the casino game action was and to experience this new texas hold em poker gaming technologies. Right after playing a few hands, I actually felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the main reason. I prefer to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are feasible at these computer tables.
Another thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a great deal of hands in the PokerPro table and discovered that the wager on was a good deal like an internet based texas hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become very odd.
Right after betting a couple of rounds with this "unique texas hold’em poker technology", I made a decision that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m far better off playing texas hold em poker on the net at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house were to have rid of the live poker tables, I think they’d loose a lot of gamblers.
