Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest possible pre-flop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But regardless a large number of bettors find themselves on the wrong end when dealt these cards.
When you are given a pair of Aces, you just do not fold pre-flop. You are sitting with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say no to that.
Bear in mind, you’re looking to produce as much money out of this strong position. You need to maximise the possibility. Going all-in will basically scare most gamblers into dropping out and not making a bet.
If you are in the initial seat (1st or second to bet), you will lay a single bet. Any player with a decent hand will call, with luck somebody will raise. If someone has made a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your strategy will be to get rid of any player that might get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you’ll fool one player into believing that you’re bluffing.
If you’re in the center or later spot (near the last to wager) you’ll watch as every player calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avoid a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players drop out after the flop. If you don’t drive out your competition you risk squandering your hand.
