Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in an awesome game for early level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their moolla.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, novices can take their time and plan without needing to make quick decisions.
It’s also easier to gamble on for an extended time with just a little amount of money after all, to lose, both of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the dealer is given seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
