Caribbean Poker Codes and Hints

Web poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire five cards each. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a sum in accordance with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
